Meet our new family member....

Logan Patrick Knickerbocker was born at 3:30pm on Monday, December 28th, at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. He was 8lbs. 5oz. and 20 3/4 inches long. I was blessed with another easy labor and delivery. We had a great experience at the hospital and I really loved my doctor. My mom was here all last week and is staying this week too. It's been so nice to have her here to help with William and Logan and make sure we eat good meals every night! It will be sad to see her leave.

William seems to like Logan and not feel too threatened by him yet. William has a few needy moments, but all in all he is handling the change really well. When we first came home from the hospital I told William I was going to feed the baby. He jumped up and ran to the kitchen. He came back with two spoons, one for himself and one for Logan. I had to explain to him that babies drink milk from their mommies. He also hates it when I clean Logan's belly button. William cries and says, no hurt baby. The other day he grabbed the bottle of alcohol I use to clean the umbilical cord and ran away with it. I have tried to tell him it doesn't hurt the baby, but he doesn't believe me. William goes back to Mother's Day Out tomorrow, so I think having a normal routine for him will really help.

Here are some more pictures of baby Logan's first week in the world...

We are so excited to watch William and Logan grow up together and extremely grateful to have two healthy boys. It's not easy to move to a new town where you don't know anyone or anything, but God has had his hand on our lives and definitely guided us through this process. We feel so blessed and excited to start the new year with our new little guy!
