Happy 18 Months Logan!

Our little Logan baby is growing up, he turned 18 months old on Tuesday. As I've said before, he's into everything! There is nothing he won't try to climb and loves copying everything William does, which can get dangerous. He's currently sporting a busted lip and bruised big toe. His favorite past times include...dancing, snacks, playing with big brother, running, climbing, swimming, playing outside, throwing and kicking balls, and just being a wild toddler.

We went to the Doctor today for Logan's 18 month check-up. At Logan's 15 month appointment I promised myself I would not worry about his weight (or lack there of) anymore. Well, he came in at a whopping 8th percentile and my heart sank. I know I can't control how skinny he is, but as a mother you want your child to hit all the marks. Our poor Pediatrician did the same song and dance for me as every appointment..."he's healthy, he's just a thin guy, don't worry about it." He did come in at 47th percentile for height, so that made me feel better...he is growing. He also hit all of his milestones and got a clean bill of health. Such a blessing!!

I know this sounds cheesy, but when Jonathan had his accident I remember feeling so blessed and thankful that we would be able to have more children together. I know God spared Jonathan's life and legs for a reason. It warms my heart to think that Logan is one of those reasons and the special plan he has for him. I think God knew William needed a little brother! ;)

What a difference a year makes...
